Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f/x)

Our Finance team is looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager who will act as a sparring partner to our Head of Finance. You will support the full spectrum of operation and reporting and will step by step develop in a rapidly changing environment.

Who you are
  • You successfully completed a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and/or Accounting
  • You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience in a generalist Finance function
  • You maintain knowledge of auditing and local Austrian Tax Law (VAT and Income Tax)
  • You always have the big picture in mind and are able to see the whole process
  • You love to work with data and statistics
  • You are very keen on accuracy and quality, as well as paying attention to details
  • You are a fast learner and a great fan of efficiency
  • Your German and English skills are excellent
  • You want to grow fast and take on responsibility
  • You are highly motivated to drive change
  • You don’t use the term “That doesn’t work”
  • You care about the world and want to spend your time making a difference
What you'll do
  • You support our Head of Finance in the daily business and therefore contribute to a smooth process of all operations
  • You compare and analyze internal financial data
  • You coordinate new processes and business models in terms of financial processing
  • You conduct research regarding tax, payment subjects and more
  • You support optimization of our workflows with all departments
  • You are the go-to person for internal finance questions
  • You work on optimization and automatization/digitalization of finance, accounting and controlling processes
  • You evaluate reports for stakeholder and continuously work on improving reporting
  • You work on various Finance projects
Additional factors we appreciate
  • You have worked in a consultancy, tax or corporate finance
  • You have international experience in accounting/finance
  • You know how marketplaces work
  • You have experience with automation and modern accounting software solutions
  • Multiple European languages are a plus
